Romanian witches hate the evil tax man just as much as you or I. Reports are streaming in from the former Soviet Block nation, whose witches are planning to curse the country's rulers for forcing them to pay tax. Queen Witch, Bratara Buzea, will lead the incantation consisting of cat poop and dead dogs!

The latest government unemployment figures are cloaked in controversy. The government now claims that fewer than 10% of Americans cannot find a job. However this figure is determined by a formula called U3 which only counts people as un-employed if they are actively seeking employment and have not run out of unemployment benefits. Prior administrations used a broader rubric called U6. This change occurred in 1994, and ceased to count "discouraged workers", "marginally attached workers", and the underemployed.
